Purchase:

Thunfisch in der Dose can come alone or with vegetables, in a glass or canned container, in oil or in water.

When you go to buy canned food you should consider: 

  • Observe the date of expiration, expiration or expiration of the product.

That is not covered, adulterated, or blurred. Choose the product with the most distant date to its fulfillment.

  • That the can is in perfect condition, without blows, plunged and much less inflated, because this means that its content is decomposing.

Storage:

Verify expiration or expiration date. If it has been uncovered, refrigerate out of the can, in a covered container, for a maximum of 3 days, in the coldest place in the refrigerator.

Canned or in glass container, if not yet opened, store at room temperature until expiry or expiration date. Once uncovered, if canned, remove from it and consume. The Leftovers refrigerate in a container with a non-tin cover, lasts for approximately 3-4 days.

Note: Never refrigerate in the can.

Canned foods are stored and kept at room temperature when they have not been uncovered. When they are uncovered they must be consumed in their entirety, otherwise, empty the surplus in a container with a lid preferably glass, to preserve its flavor and refrigerate.

Fish or any other food should be handled with clean hands and utensils.

It is necessary to keep in mind the avoidance of “cross contamination”, that is to say, when storing a meat or cooked fish should not be near one crude.
